CADi Trade

What might a different execution choice have changed?

Examine venue, timing and order handling, with the reasons for each choice and estimates of alternatives where the evidence supports them.

Plan your deployment

Bring us a problem, a suspected opportunity or a result that does not add up. We can explore how CADi Trade could help, starting with your question and the evidence available.

Get in touch

An execution challenged after the close

Best-execution and market-conduct obligations turn on how an order was handled - which venue, what timing, what the alternatives were. When an execution is challenged, weeks or months later, that reasoning has to be produced.

In practice, defending an execution means rebuilding the decision by hand from fills, logs and recollection. A best-execution committee, a surveillance team or a regulator is handed a reconstruction, not a record.

What CADi Trade does

CADi Trade examines venue, timing and order-handling decisions, the evidence behind them and the alternatives available. It keeps the reasoning and policy together for review by the execution team, committee or auditor.

Alternative outcomes are estimates under the declared model, not promises of a better price. CADi Trade does not execute or route orders, provide investment advice or guarantee best execution.

What you get

Evidence for the review

Keep the decision and its supporting reasoning available for the execution committee or auditor.

Venue, timing and handling

Examine the choices made, the policy applied and the constraints in place.

Alternatives with assumptions

Estimate what a different handling could have changed where the evidence supports comparison.

Judgement stays with your team

The analysis supports review. It does not execute, route orders or give investment advice.

Who it's for

Trading & execution desks

Desks carrying best-execution and market-conduct obligations, who must be able to defend how any order was handled.

Best-execution & surveillance functions

The committee, surveillance and audit teams who review executions and need a record to rely on rather than a manual reconstruction.

How the engine applies

CADi Trade analyses the relevant decision history alongside your existing systems. We agree the question, available evidence and causal assumptions with your team, then examine the reasoning and plausible alternatives.

The people responsible retain the decision. Historical analysis can deepen into a continuous evidence feed where useful; the findings support review and learning rather than replacing professional judgement.

Where this is today

CADi is in production - its engines are live in the cloud - with nine UK patent applications pending. CADi Trade evidences how an execution was governed; it does not advise, does not execute or route orders, and never guarantees best execution.

Causal analysis runs on a declared model of the decision environment. Its conclusions depend on that model, the available evidence and explicit assumptions; estimates are analytical approximations. The engine has been tested against injected, synthetic and real ingested data. Live-outcome validation is completed against each client's own outcomes during deployment.
